Verzierte Schwabacher is a heavy, dramatic old-German blackletter whose capital letters each have a thin white line carved through the middle, giving them a hand-carved wooden-sign look.
The small letters are plainer but just as bold.
It has the old-style shapes German readers know from Schwabacher printing — for example the capital G looks more like a curly B, which is how the original 1900s letterforms were drawn.
This is a headline font, not a reading font: use it for posters, book covers, heavy metal band logos, Halloween decorations, or anywhere you want big German words to feel like they were carved into a tavern sign.
The full character set is here, including numbers and German umlauts, all drawn to match.
